We hope to see you on October 27 at 7 pm at Zoetropolis for this month’s story slam.

Doors will open at 6:30 pm that evening, and we start telling stories at 7 pm.

Tickets are still available. Please visit our Tickets page to get yours.

For everyone who has told us—"I have a story I want to tell, but it never fits one of the themes”— October is your month to tell that story. We’ve cut the pesky theme format for this month only, just for you. All our other rules apply—tell a true story, about five minutes long, in which you are the main or one of the main characters, without notes, music, or props.

We look forward to hearing your true stories. If you have a story, sign in at the table in the back of the theater when you arrive.

This is the last open mic event of the season, so it’s the last chance to earn a spot in our 2026 Grand Slam. And speaking of the Grand Slam, we’ll announce this year’s theme at the end of this event. That way, all of our winners - from January through October - will have the same amount of time to prepare.
